Prosegur obtained a net benefit of 44 million euros between January and March of the present year, which is a 2.9% higher than the figure for the same three-month period of 2011.

The gross benefit of the company (ebitda) increased a 15.8%, reaching 98 million euros, while their net benefit (ebit) increased 14%, reaching 74 million euros.

Prosegur sales during the first three-month period of 2012 reached an amount of 838 million euros, which is a 30.3% turnover increase compared to 2011, when the sales figure was 643 million euros.

The wind power station is a compound of three different installations in the Oaxaca region and it has a power of 306 megawatts.

With the inauguration of this new wind farm, Acciona, the company presided by José Manuel Entrecanales, becomes the first wind-energy electricity company in México, where they now have a total power of 556.5 MW, the 65% of the total of the country. Endesa’s business in Latin America will contribute with 3.600 million euros of ebitda while the business in Spain and Portugal with 3.300. This results, with Latin America contributing with more than half of the total gross earnings of the company presided by Borja Prado, reinforce Endesa’s hopes of making Latin America the engine of their business.

These figures were announced yesterday in Rome, where the Enel group presented their results for the year. Endesa, a subsidiary of Enel, presented their 2012-2016 strategic planning. Endesa forecasts a 7.000 million euros ebitda for the present year, while 2011’s ebitda was 7.200 million euros.
