Analysts expect a 15% growth in Gas Natural results

Gas Natural Fenosa presents this Tuesday their 2011 results expecting 1.376 million euro earnings, according to the consensus of the analysts consulted by Bloomberg. These earnings would entail a 14.6% increase in regard to the 1.201 million euro of 2010.

According to the analysts, the improvement is justified by the fall of the financial expenditure as a result of the debt reduction. But the weakness of the Spanish market would weigh down the operating outcome of the gas fitter.

The company, presided by Salvador Gabarró, reduced their net profit a 0.7%, until 1.114 million euros, in the first nine months of the year, despite increasing their business turnover by a 7.2%, until 13.315 million euros.

During the presentation, the board of directors of the company would establish their public posture in the conflict between the electric companies and the Spanish Government regarding the tariff deficit and a possible deduction. They would also clarify if the economic crisis could affect the fulfillment of their Strategic Plan 2010-2014, which foresees a 10% medium annual growth and reaching a 5.000 million euro operating profit by 2012 among other things.
